Clarkson’s Farm star Lisa Hogan has opened up about tragedy striking at Diddly Squat in the show's third series, revealing that she struggled to deal with the deaths of her animals.The new series of the Prime Video hit sees Jeremy Clarkson and girlfriend Lisa start breeding pigs – resulting in emotional moments.
After bonding with the pigs in a way she never expected, Lisa struggles when animals are lost. “I didn’t think I’d be that enamoured by pigs but I did get really close to them,” she said. “Farming’s just sad.The animals become your friends and you’re isolated.
It was heart-breaking.” Jeremy added he called on Lisa to help deliver piglets in the new series. “It turns out that pigs aren’t great mothers as a general rule, but the sandy and black breed that we got makes for a particularly poor mother,” he said.
Elsewhere on the Diddly Squat land, Jeremy finds himself falling out with farm a manager Kaleb in series three as they try their hands at construction. “I struggle to argue with him about farming because he just knows more than I do,” Jeremy said. “But when we do things like trying to repair the dam, that’s construction, and neither of us really know what we’re doing.
