James Martin has spilled the beans on how he stays trim – and it's not how you might think.The 51 year old culinary whizz attributes his impressive three-stone weight loss to a significant diet revamp.
And it turns out he's munching on fish twice a day. James, who can be seen on our screens with James Martin's Saturday morning and James Martin's Great British Adventure on 18 May, revealed back in March that he'd split from his long-term girlfriend, Louise Davis, after 12 years together.
Earlier this week he was spotted out with a glam new flame, personal trainer Kim Johnson.Talking about what he eats, he explained: "What could be simpler than pan-frying a little bit of salmon and serving it with some great new potatoes and seasonal veg?" Kristen Smith, a registered dietitian and spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, backs up James' choice of fish for those on a weight loss journey.
She explained: "Most fish are high in protein but contain fewer calories than other protein sources, like poultry or beef. Protein-rich foods can help increase satiety and prevent overeating at or between meals.
