Jadon Sancho says he will be "forever grateful" to Edin Terzic for "trusting me" after the 41-year-old left Borussia Dortmund.
The Bundesliga club confirmed on Thursday morning that Terzic had left the club with immediate effect after asking for his contract to be terminated.
The German-Croatian coach brought Sancho back to Dortmund in January as the winger had been left out in the cold at Manchester United after a falling out with Erik ten Hag. [love heart emoji].
Forever grateful! "I wish you the best of luck on your next chapter!" Terzic was appointed interim manager of Dortmund in December 2020 after Lucien Favre was sacked and it was his appointment that helped Sancho earn a £73m move to Manchester United as Dortmund lifted the DFB-Pokal trophy.
