The Chase presenter Bradley Walsh is a fan-favourite to become the new permanent This Morning host and take over Phillip Schofield's former position on the iconic ITV sofa.
The result came following a survey from Betfair Slots, which saw the 63 year old Gladiators host win the "wild card" spot. Bradley was amongst other big-name stars predicted to take the permanent Monday to Thursday role, but won 25 per cent of the vote.
Funny man Alan Carr was next to be voted as the wild card presenter with 21 per cent, while Amanda Holden received 17 per cent.
Strictly Come Dancing and The Traitors host Claudia Winkleman was next with 15 per cent of the wild card vote. Fans voted for Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, who currently helm Fridays every week and a string of other days while producers continue to search for their permanent stars, as the ultimate weekday hosts.
