Arsenal hero Ian Wright has agreed with Pep Guardiola that the volume of games Manchester City have to contend with during the run-in could be a reason for their defensive lapses, such as seen against Crystal Palace.

Should the Blues make it through to both the FA Cup and Champions League finals, they will play an average of a game every three days.

The ratio is already close to that currently, but all Premier League teams have played three matches within eight days post-international break.
