Come rain or shine, residents in parts of north Manchester may have spotted a cyclist riding around delivering sandwiches on his bike.

That man is John Skegg, a 34-year-old from Bury who recently opened his own food delivery service. John, who lives in Unsworth, launched Sandwich Cycle last month after having the idea in the pipeline for years – and business is already booming. While the service was initially delivery only, John recently opened a unit at the back of 76 Bury Old Road, which now operates as a mini café.

Having worked many roles in the food industry, John first thought of Sandwich Cycle many years ago and decided to put his plan into motion.
