A FORMER Apprentice contestant has opened up about the intense filming schedule and gruelling tasks - including "brutal" six-hour back-to-back interviews which left her in tears.

Ambitious Camilla Ainsworth, 27, took on the iconic BBC show in 2018 aged just 22, and ended her stint as the runner-up. One of the youngest on The Apprentice, she impressed industry experts with her nut milk brand - narrowly missing out on the top spot to swimwear brand owner Sian Gabbidon.

Ahead of the new series - which starts tonight - Camilla said she has "no regrets" about going on the show but warned it's no walk in the park.

She revealed there is no behind-the-scenes assistance for candidates - and the show is "so much harder than it seems". She recalled long days and 3am starts and after just four hours of sleep, as well as the "brutal" interview stages which left candidates in tears.
