But for Carla Bellucci, a mum-of-four who's been labelled 'Britain's most hated woman', Halloween is more than just a holiday - it's an obsession.
Carla, 42, a former glamour model who has previously hit the headlines for her controversial opinions and lifestyle choices, splashes out a staggering £5K each year to transform her home into a spooky spectacle. "I love Halloween, I’m a horror fanatic, and I have always been obsessed with the celebrations - it’s one of my favourite times of the year", she tells What's The Jam. "Everything about it I love, and I do like giving people the fright of their lives." For anyone who isn't on board with Carla's ghostly ways, she's got something in store for them, "I’ll be chucking water over the parents and giving the kids a scare if they don’t like it," she openly adds.
Carla's enormous Halloween bash, which takes place in her Hertfordshire home each year, comes complete with a frightening theme and professional actors that help bring the horror to life.This year the mum-of-four has opted to deck her pad out as a haunted house with headstones, skeletons and ghosts lurking around every corner.
