Even if you're paying for a service, there are certain behaviours clients should avoid to get the most out of their appointments.Expert Stephanie Plastow who regularly shares haircare content on social media has shared a common client behaviour that she considers to be "disrespectful".
Taking to TikTok, she posted a video warning people never to show up with greasy hair, as it may end up in an axed appointment.In a clip posted on her @iconicfckinhair, Stephanie explained that clients will often come in with unwashed hair, while jokingly telling her "I thought I'd save that for you".
But she warned that if this happens, "the salon has every right to cancel the appointment and charge a cancellation fee."While it's understandable to think showing up with unclean hair is acceptable if you're getting it washed at the salon, it can make treatments like colouring and extensions difficult, the Mirror reports.Showing clips of a client's matted hair, her pairing caption read: "It isn't funny though when their hair colour doesn't lift as cleanly as it could of… or the extensions slip.
