Now, as anticipation heats up for the 2023 series, Jill shares her words of wisdom and encourages new campmates to “embrace it all” – the gruelling challenges, stomach-churning food trials and all. “Whoever goes on to win it, I’m sure deserves it.

I can’t wait to tune in. I honestly can’t believe it’s been a year since I was there. “It’s such a unique experience and I think that’s why genuine friendships are made there,” she said. “You can’t really explain what it’s like unless you’ve been there. “There are moments when you’ll miss home, but try and find someone in there that you can relate to and have conversations with.
