To celebrate, this Aug. 11, some of the biggest names in rap from past and present are bringing it all back home, to the Bronx, where rap music originated.Whether you’re an old-head, or you’re riding the new wave, there’s plenty to like at Yankee Stadium’s Hip Hop 50 showcase, featuring legends like Run DMC, Kurtis Blow, and the Sugarhill Gang, 90’s titans like Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube, and many, many more.
This one-day festival features as many as 24 (!) performers, alongside DJ performances, and more rappers yet to be announced.
