Homeless dad battling cancer to be given temporary housing 'within days' after landlord sold East Kilbride home

A homeless man suffering from a brain tumour is to be given a temporary home within “days” after his landlord sold the family home.Dad-of-two Joseph McCann, 53, had been forced to sofa surf with his family after South Lanarkshire Council failed to find him a home.Joseph, his wife Gail, 42, and children Connor, 22, and 13-year-old Carly were forced out of their East Kilbride home when their landlord decided to sell the property.But the local authority failed to find them alternative accommodation forcing the family to bunk down on sofas and floors of relatives.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
