Home and Away's Ally Harris opens up on ADHD diagnosis as she lands new role

Home and Away's new star, Ally Harris, has shared her personal journey with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).The 26 year old actress, who plays nurse Dana Matheson on the popular Aussie soap, didn't know she had the condition until she was an adult.

Ally, who also starred in The Claremont Murders and Harrow before joining Home and Away, admitted that she struggled to decide on a career path during her school years.

Despite this, her ADHD hasn't stopped her from achieving her goals.The Channel 5 star confessed that growing up without knowing she had ADHD made her feel inadequate at times.

She said: "I felt a lot of pressure and kept asking myself, 'Why can't you follow through? Why can't you finish things?' Now, I have more of a handle on it and have become obsessed with getting lots of things done.
