Cat Deeley has revealed the support she received from Holly Willoughby after it was confirmed she'd take her permanent role as the co-host of This Morning.
Holly shocked when she confirmed her departure from the ITV daytime show in October last year after 14 years at the helm alongside Phillip Schofield, who excited in May of the same year following his admission of an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a younger colleague.
Holly, 43, said at the time that it had been an 'honour to just be part of its story', but said it was a call she had to make for herself and her family.
In an Instagram post, she wrote: "I have let ITV know today that after 14 years, I will not be returning to This Morning. To everyone who has ever worked on the show over the years, thank you so so much.
