Posting holiday snaps and keeping your followers updated on your travels may seem fun and lighthearted, but there are several ‘red flags’ you need to be aware of, a social media expert has warned.

Posting holiday photos is an ‘open invitation to burglars’, says Adam Collins from Ignite SEO, a London-based tech entrepreneur and social media expert.

You’re effectively putting up a sign saying ‘not at home’ while you’re away. As well as highlighting a vacant property, it could potentially void your home insurance coverage.
