Greenhills Golf Club marks 50 years with open day hospice fundraiser

Greenhills Golf Club marked a 50 year milestone by raising over a thousand pounds for the Kilbryde Hospice.The club, established in 1974, celebrated its 50 year anniversary with its first ever open day at the Torrance House Golf Course in aid of the town’s end of life care centre.And there was a truly tee-rrific turnout with over 100 participants from various golf clubs playing in the event raising an incredible £1150 for the hospice.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

It was always in my mind what the hospice had done for him. This was about giving to a local charity.”Since joining the club 10 years ago, Stephen, treasurer Colin Wilson and their dedicated committee have done an incredible amount of work raising funds for the local community - from Easter egg donations to Christmas discos.
