Grateful Dead have paid tribute to the late NBA legend Bill Walton.The band took to their official Instagram account and shared various photos of the Hall of Famer in the crowd and on stage with the group while dressed up in costumes.
Walton passed away on May 27 at the age of 71 in his home in San Diego following a battle with colon cancer.“Fare you well, fare you well, we love you more than words can tell,” began the statement shared on the Dead & company Instagram page. “Bill was an irreplaceable force and spirit in our family.
