Susanna Reid

Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.

She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.

She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.

Good Morning Britain viewers were left confused and left flocking to social media as an interview with Casualty legend Derek Thompson was branded 'awkward'.

The actor was on the ITV news programme on Tuesday (May 14) to chat about appearing in Blue Lights. The Northern Ireland set BBC drama returned for its second series last month and starts one year after the fall of the McIntyres, with the rookies being pushed to their personal and professional limits as a gangland feud leads to chaos on the streets.

But after talking about the series, Susanna Reid and Ed Balls couldn't help but talk to Derek about Casulaty where he is famed for having played Charlie Fairhead for 38 years.
