Good causes urged to apply for funding from East Kilbride Fire Station charity plant sale

East Kilbride firefighters will be raising cash for good causes at their annual charity plant sale next month.Tens of thousands of pounds has been raised by East Kilbride Fire Station at the popular community event over the years with all proceeds going to the National Fire Fighters Charity and several local charities.Last year Loaves and Fishes, St Andrew's First Aid, East Kilbride Sea Cadets, East Kilbride Men's Shed and St Vincent de Paul Society all benefitted from donations.Running for over 30 years, the event attracts hundreds of gardeners every year and has a wide selection of bedding plants, shrubs and baskets.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
