On the latest episode of Good Morning Britain, Kate Garraway and Ed Balls had a chance to chat with ex-Strictly pro dancer Erin Boag.

The trio delved into the current controversies embroiling the much-loved BBC series, notably the recent decision to introduce chaperones in rehearsal spaces following several complaints.

Sharing his perspective, especially as a former contestant, Ed mentioned: "We were alone a good half the time." He continued, discussing the need for resilience in partners, saying: "Isn't it the case, if you get someone like me or Richard [Arnold], you need your partner to be tough as that's the only way you learn." Ed further elaborated on the fine line between being challenging and unsupportive: "When you get it wrong you have to be motivated.

It feels as though, it's a couple of instances, we don't know how many, but a small number, they've crossed a line," reports OK!.
