Girls Aloud say 'how can it' as stars mark heartbreaking Sarah Harding date

Girls Aloud have shared a message marking the death of band member Sarah Harding. It's been three years since the singer tragically died after being diagnosed with cancer.

Sarah, who grew up in Stockport and was part of the girl band since their inception on Popstars: The Rivals in 2002, died at the age of 39 in September 2021 after she was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer.

The band - made up of Cheryl, Kimberley, Nadine and Nicola - have since reunited in Sarah's memory and carrying on her wish of raising as much awareness and money as possible for The Sarah Harding Breast Cancer Appeal which aims to identify and find support for younger women who may be at an increased risk of developing the disease. Now, on Thursday (September 5), the band marked three years since Sarah's passing. Sharing a gorgeous picture of the star on social media, the caption read: "How can it already be 3 years? [broken heart emoji].
