With that in mind, the experts at Ocean Finance have shared some clever ways to look after your garden - including a £2.80 hack to help your grass 'stay greener for longer'.While buying lawn feed can be around £13, you can keep lawns lush with an everyday cup of coffee instead, say the experts.Ground coffee is said to be good for your lawn because of the nitrogen, phosphorus, and trace minerals it contains.

These nutrients are released slowly which benefits the lawn for longer.While many of us will be buying coffee in our weekly shop, you can get some ground coffee for less than £3 if you don’t drink it.
