Former Fifth Harmony Member Normani Kordei Teases “1:59,” First Single From Debut Album ‘Dopamine’
deadline.comNormani Kordei is finally releasing her debut solo album after teasing fans for many years following the Fifth Harmony split.
The singer shared a snippet of the first single, titled “1:59,” from her new album Dopamine. “Soo basically my first single ‘1:59’ will be coming out 4/26,” Kordei captioned a post on Instagram.
In the video Kordei shared, fans got a sneak peek of her new single, where she sings, “When I get you alone / Boy, what you gon’ do with it? / Don’t talk too much, just do that sh**.” A post shared by Normani (@normani) Kordei auditioned as a solo artist for The X-Factor USA back in 2012 but was eliminated.
However, she was brought back into the competition as part of a pop group that would be known as Fifth Harmony. The quintet ended up in third place in Season 2 but would go on to record three albums.
