Amanda Holden
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Forensic police at Ayr flats as unexplained death probe stretches into second day

dailyrecord.co.ukA death probe at a block of Ayr flats has stretched into its second day. Cops are investigating the death of a 41-year-old woman after a body was discovered inside a property in Nursery Hall.
Specialist officers including forensic teams are understood to be combing through the flat in the Whitletts area of the town.A large police presence still remains at the scene 24 hours from when officers first arrived.
Fresh pictures show two uniformed officers guarding the entrance to the block of flats, with a police cordon remaining around the scene.
Police confirmed yesterday that they were called to the flats around 10.15am. A 41-year-old woman was found and pronounced dead at the scene.
