A brilliant boss who never stops working her socks off is the latest recipient of the Wishaw Press’ Say it with Flowers Award.Frances Smith, who is known as Fran, runs Beauty Box salon, situated in Glasgow Road in Wishaw.

And just two years ago, along with husband David, she took over The Waverley bar in the town’s Main Street.Fantastic Fran, a mum-of-four from Netherton, was nominated for our flowers award by the pub’s manager Helen McKenzie.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
