Flight attendant explains why you should not brush teeth in airplane bathrooms

In particular, the ex-cabin crew insider says that you shouldn't brush your teeth in the bathroom. On long-haul flights which can last for hours upon end this may feel like odd advice, but she explains that airplane bathrooms aren't as clean as you may think.
She also warns that this year, as things have gotten busier, cleaning can become more lax. She says that this is because airlines have to prioritise turnover, which means that the toilet doesn't often get a deep clean.
Speaking to the Mirror, the former flight attendant - who chose to remain anonymous - also revealed how often loos are cleaned, and the worst times to use the bathroom when flying.
