First picture of man found dead at Scots property as heartbroken sister hails 'diamond brother'

A man found dead at a property in Uddingston has been named locally as David Tate.The 33-year-old died 'suddenly' at an address on Hamilton Road in the South Lanarkshire town at around 1.30pm on Sunday.

David's heartbroken family have been left devastated by the news and tributes have since flooded in. Police say the death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.

His sister Kara Tait lead the tributes on Facebook as she described David as a "diamond of a brother". She said: “I can’t get my head round this.

You really were a diamond of a brother, I’ll never get over it. Sleep tight my angel I love you so much.”Meanwhile his mum Carol Tait changed her cover photo on Facebook to a picture of David as tributes from other loved ones flooded in.Thomas Michael Campbell said: "If you were lucky enough to know David Ross Gillick Tait then you really were lucky.
