Emmerdale star left 'feeling sick' as Belle Dingle star heaped with praise after harrowing Tom scenes

The harrowing episode showed what happened during the couple's trip to Wales, with viewers well aware of Tom's abuse and control of his wife.
Continuing that isolate his wife from her family and friends in the village, Tom was seen booking them a cottage miles away from the Dales and once there, he quickly landed himself a job at a new veterinary practice.
During their stay, shown during a special flashback episode on Wednesday night (July 24), Tom exerted his dominance over Belle, including being critical of the toast she made for him, refusing to eat some because it had a couple of 'burnt bits'.
