It comes after it was revealed this week that Gail Loman has a secret son and Ryan, her boyfriend, is the father. The couple gave the child up for adoption and the adoptive mother of 13-year-old Oscar, has tracked Gail down because he has a rare type of aplastic anaemia and needs a bone marrow transplant.
Adoptive mum Sophie wasn't a and asked Gail if she could get tested. It also transpired this week that Ryan is the biological father.
But Gail has been keeping her meet-up with Sophie a secret from Ryan - and the fact that she was going to be tested. In Friday's episode, Gail was told she was not a match and reveals all about her secret son during a heart-to-heart with Marlon Dingle.
