Emmerdale fans do double-take as they spot 'unrecognisable' Coronation Street icon
ok.co.ukEmmerdale fans were left doing a double-take when they tuned into some classic episodes of the ITV soap, as they spotted a Coronation Street icon in the village.
Actor Daniel Brocklebank looks unrecognisable in the scenes, with the soap star now best known for playing Billy Mayhew in Corrie.
Daniel, 44, took to social media to share his surprise at having spotted himself in the old episodes of Emmerdale, which are broadcast daily on ITV3.The actor posted a photograph of himself posing in front of a television, as a scene from his time in the village played on screen. "Today Ivan Jones entered #ClassicEmmerdale… I’m now officially running in two amazing shows on @itvHere’s me at 24 & 44…," Daniel penned alongside the photo.
Soap fans were taken aback by how different Daniel looked during his Emmerdale days, with the star nearly unrecognisable. "Omg !" one person commented on Daniel's post.
