East Kilbride primary school kids surprised with special guests

East Kilbride pupils were greeted with special guests on World Book Day last month.Two of South Lanarkshire Council’s Go Fresh characters, Alan Apple and Chris Corn, surprised kids at Murray Primary to encourage them to have a school lunch.Schools across the area hosted special themed lunches in celebration of World Book Day, and the one in each geographical area with the highest increase in uptake received a visit from the quirky characters.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
