East Kilbride boss Mick Kennedy says he’s lacking a penalty box predator and wants a striker to step up, as he urges his side to react to their first Lowland League defeat.Goals from Nathan Flanagan and Scott Ferguson weren’t enough to prevent Kilby from falling to a 4-2 defeat against second-placed Hearts ‘B’ at K-Park, though they are five points clear with two games in hand.But Kennedy says they created more than enough chances in the first half to be comfortably ahead, and wants his stars to make more of their opportunities.He said: “The fact we’ve scored 90 goals in all competitions is staggering, when you think about it, but our highest goal-scoring individual is only on about 12 goals of that – and he’s a winger.“There’s nobody within the group that has been really clinical, the goals have been spread across the club, and a lot of that is how we play, to be fair.“But we maybe just lack that clinical, penalty box number nine.“The centre-forwards that we’ve got are fantastic, they’ve got a spread of goals, but we maybe lack somebody who’s selfish and clinical, and every goal we score seems to have to be perfect.“We lack that person in the box who isn’t interested in anything apart from shooting.”Kilby head to Broomhill on Saturday and Kennedy wants a reaction.“I think the defeat was going to come at some point,” he said. “There were games we could have lost on the run we’ve been on, so when the defeat comes, it’s just at that point how you react to it.“We need to show up, react in a positive manner, try to get three points and put Saturday down to ‘one of those days’.“It’s a difficult place to go, Broomhill, they’re particularly strong at home are more than capable of beating us if we’re not at it.“We need to go
