Dua Lipa’s BRITS leather gown was a showstopper – and we’ve found a wearable £60 alternative
ok.co.ukAs a rule, red carpet looks aren’t necessarily supposed to be wearable.They’re meant to be showstopping outfits that will typically only see the light of day at elite, luxury events like awards ceremonies and movie premieres.
However that doesn’t mean we can’t take a little bit of inspo from them, especially when they’re as good as Dua Lipa’s.The singer hit the BRITS red carpet wearing a custom Versace black leather gown, with a cut out harness neckline and a pooling train that had us all quite literally stunned.
Whilst our opportunities to wear a floor length leather dress are, frankly, thin on the ground, we did manage to track down this Urban Revivo Faux Leather Mini Dress, £60 here, that has the same edgy glamour as Dua’s, whilst still being a much more wearable addition to our wardrobes.
Just like Dua’s, the leather mini dress – which you can pick up at ASOS – has a strappy neckline with cut out details, and comes in a (faux) leather material that gives it a little bit of edge.
