nypost.comhardest working member of the Firm.The Princess Royal, 73, took on the most engagements over any other person of the Windsor clan in 2023.According to the Telegraph, the Court Circular calculated that Anne attended 457 engagements this year.The Court Circular is the official record for counting the royal engagements that each member undertakes, going back to 1997.Her brother, King Charles III, came in second place on the list with 425 events attended.
The monarch, 75, was in the same spot behind Anne last year, as well.Royal biographer Dickie Arbiter shed some light on Anne’s work ethic.“She just gets on with it, often carrying out multiple engagements in one day,” he recently told the Telegraph. “Of course, much of what the king does is behind the scenes, in meetings and going through his red boxes, which doesn’t warrant a mention in the Court Circular.”Anne scheduled between 12 and 14 engagements on average a week this year, while Prince William and Kate Middleton have been seen out and about in public only once or twice a week.
Prince Edward landed third in the ranking, coming in hot with 297 engagements.Queen Camilla came in close behind with 233, and Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, completed 219.
The Prince of Wales, 41, and the late Queen Elizabeth’s cousin Prince Richard, the Duke of Gloucester, tied for sixth place with 172 outings.
