But nutrition and functional medicine expert Dr Mindy Pelz has explained how a 36-hour fasting method could help finally banish that stubborn fat.
Speaking on Speaking on the latest episode of Diary Of A CEO podcast, Dr Pelz shared her professional advice for anyone struggling to budge belly fat, reports Wales Online.Dubbing it the fat burner fast, her advice is to fast for 36 hours, before eating again in a 12-hour time frame.
She revealed that the extreme plan is her "favourite for those looking to lose weight", especially around the tummy.Detailing the research behind the method, Dr Pelz said: "At 36 hours what happens is that's enough time where the blood sugars come down.
