Coronation Street fans will be glued to their screens as this week's spoilers suggest it's going to be a dramatic week.Pregnant Sarah Barlow is rushed to hospital while villain Damon Hay "returns" to the Cobbles.
Fans of the soap will remember that Sarah (Tina O'Brien) didn't know who the father of her unborn child is after she had an affair with Damon (Ciaran Griffiths) earlier this year, writes The Mirror. In the last few weeks, Sarah lied to her husband Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) about him being the dad after he suffered a panic attack in court.
And in episodes this week, Adam requests the clinic to send him written confirmation of who the father is and later he rips open the letter while grinning, when he discovers that he is the father. However drama is about to unfold as Damon is keen to get in contact with Sarah and several missed calls on her phone leave her feeling on edge.
Sarah also can sense something isn't right because of Adam’s cagey behaviour but Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) says she shouldn't worry and it's probably just that Adam is excited about planning a surprise gender reveal for her.Later the Barlow and Platt families gather in the bistro for the reveal and Sarah has to open a balloon box in front of her guests, revealing the gender of her baby.
