Coronation Street spoilers as Lauren returns to Weatherfield, Carla attacks and favourite leaves

After not being seen since February, it was revealed in May that she had been brutally attacked by Joel Deering, who was her 'secret boyfriend'.
But after months away, she returned to see a sick Roy Cropper after he ended up in hospital after suffering a heart attack. Next week, Dee-Dee Bailey and Nina Lucas will be left shocked when the nurse confirms that Roy's visitor was a young girl with blonde hair.
Roy, meanwhile, is delighted to think that Lauren appears to be alive but Nina is furious that she left it this long to return and clear his name and now has disappeared again.
