The actor was among the famous faces who gave up their freedom to head into the famous compound on Monday night (March 4). The celebrity version of the hit ITV reality show returned to screens for the first time since 2018 when former Corrie star and current Dancing on Ice contestant Ryan Thomas emerged as the winner.
The new series, hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best, comes after ITV revived Big Brother with a civilian series in October. Colson, 25, made his entrance into the revamped house alongside the likes of Strictly Come Dancing star Nikita Kuzmin, broadcaster and author Fern Britton and former The X Factor judges Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne. But Colson's stint in the house means he'll be taking a break from playing the crime-fighting PC Craig Tinker in Corrie with the soap star confirming he'll be away for three weeks with his absence likely not obvious on screen for a couple of months due to filming taking place so far in advance.
