The character, played by Peter Ash in the ITV soap, was devastated last week when his tablet was stolen. The piece of tech is set to be a lifeline for the former builder and his family - including husband Billy Mayhew, mum Bernie Winter and sister Gemma Winter-Brown - as it contains recordings of his voice which can be used when his health deteriorates as he lives with Motor Neurone Disease.
Paul was making the best of his recent deterioration and took the tablet with him to the Rovers Return and was playing some of his messages - some cheekier than others - alongside Billy and their friends.
