Community groups hailed for their work with kids in and around Wishaw

Two community groups have been hailed for their work with youngsters in and around Wishaw.Socialtrack and Made4UinML2 were congratulated for the work their volunteers have been doing with kids at the Wishawhill Wood pump track as well as its work in several local schools.Motherwell and Wishaw MSP Clare Adamson was on hand to present the award after she submitted a parliamentary motion at Holyrood congratulating the teams.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

Dan Scott, from Socialtrack, told us : “The event on Friday was excellent. "We had our 360 club on along with the Made4U inML2 team.“Clare had put a motion through the Scottish Parliament thanking us for the work we do at Craigneuk at Wishawhill and we were happy to have her down to give us a copy of the motion to congratulate us.“It was all really good.
