Research from Northumbria University noted that people who tend to fall asleep within 10 to 15 minutes of their head touching their pillow are more likely to have "good sleep health".
Determined as the Goldilocks zone, any sooner would indicate that you're in sleep debt. And taking longer than 20 minutes to fall asleep could be indicative of insomnia.
The NHS listed the indications of insomnia, such as:So if you have an alarm going off in the morning, and you can't fall asleep at night, it's no surprise that you may be feeling more than a little bit tense.
