Liam James Payne (born 29 August 1993) is an English singer and songwriter.
He rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction.
Payne made his debut as a singer when he auditioned for the British television series The X Factor in 2008. After being eliminated as a solo performer, he auditioned again in 2010 and was put into a group with four other contestants to form One Direction
Child and two adults rescued from sea at Scots beach amid strong winds from Storm Ashley

All three were rescued and have been taken to the hospital but no information is available on their condition at this stage.
Police are urging members of the public to avoid the area due to the exceptional weather, which is causing large waves. Weather warnings are in place across parts of the country until tomorrow morning Sergeant Scott McKay said: "We are aware of a number of people who are still in the beach area and we would urge them to leave as soon as possible for safety reasons. "The weather we are experiencing is creating unsafe conditions and I would ask that you follow our advice."
