Beyond its work with FX, Color Force’s other notable credits include “The Hunger Games” franchise, “Crazy Rich Asians” and “The Diary of a Wimpy Kid” films.
Before joining Color Force, Propper worked as executive vice president at David E. Kelley Productions where she helped adapt Rufi Thorpe’s 2023 novel “Margo’s Got Money Troubles” for Apple TV+.
After spending her fledgling years at Fox and MTV, Propper served as VP of television at Doug Liman’s Hypnotic where she developed series such as “The Recruit,” “Suits,” “Pearson” and “Nightflyers.” “When we met Checka, we immediately felt connected to her sensibility and taste,” said Color Force co-founders Jacobson and Simpson in a joint statement. “She has a sterling reputation and loves writers the way we do.
