Detectives have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to after a cyclist was hit by a car in Salford. Greater Manchester Police is investigating after the cyclist was left with serious injuries.

Officers believe an Audi A3 pulled out from standing traffic before hitting the cyclist, who was overtaking at the time. The driver failed to stop at the scene, turning right into Radcliffe Park Road, GMP says.

The cyclist sustained a serious injury to his lower back, as well as injuries to his neck and shoulders. Police released the CCTV image this evening (July 31) as they continue to investigate the incident, which took place at around 6.10pm on Monday, July 10.
