Carol Vorderman gives herself a DIY haircut with gorgeous results

We’ve all been guilty of trying a DIY haircut at home, and it seems some celebrities are just like us after all, after TV personality Carol Vorderman revealed she gave herself an at-home cut over the weekend.Taking to her Instagram, the former Countdown presenter revealed her brand new layered haircut, and admitted she’d managed to pull off the look by herself at home.

In an Instagram story posted over the weekend, Carol said she had cut her own hair that morning, saying: “I lobbed about two inches off it” before rolling her eyes and sighing, adding “I do this every time.” She then admitted she’d even added her own layers to the look, joking: “I’ve probably done a completely s**t job and by Monday I’ll probably think I need to go to the hairdressers”.

Carol might be in two minds about the results of her new ‘do, but we have to admit we are stunned by the transformation, as the I’m a Celebrity: South Africa star looks absolutely gorgeous.

Her new locks have been chopped into short choppy layers, and despite doing the cut herself at home, she’s managed to pull of an impressive version of the on-trend octopus cut that has been made popular by celebs like Emily Atack, who first debuted the style back in February, and Kim Kardashian, who showed off how to do a much longer version of the trend.
