Simon Cowell
Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Britain's Got Talent thrown into chaos as police swoop in to 'remove backstage intruder'

The 2024 Britain’s Got Talent auditions kicked off in London on 23 January, but chaos quickly ensued when police were called to remove an "intruder".

Judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli returned to the London Palladium on Wednesday for the first round of auditions, along with hosts Ant and Dec.

However, a female intruder reportedly "tried to get backstage" during the auditions, with the police being called to the venue.The woman - who hasn't been identified - allegedly tried to "sneak" past security and head into the restricted area.

Officers were seen speaking to staff at the theatre following the incident, with a small crowd gathering by the stage door. A Met Police spokesman told Express.co.uk: "Police were called at 1.23pm today to reports of a woman suffering a mental health crisis at Argyll Street, W1. "Officers and London Ambulance Service attended.The woman was assisted by officers who made arrangements for her to be met by a family member.There were no offences." Audience members reportedly overheard staff talking about the intruder, saying she "tried to sneak in backstage.
