Barry Ferguson reckons that too much has been made about Brendan Rodgers' 'good girl' comment - but does feel that the Celtic boss will regret his use of language in the aftermath of yesterday's 3-1 win against Motherwell. The Premiership champions had fought back from Blair Spittal's stunning opener to claim a massive three points, thanks to a brace from Adam Idah and a third goal from Luis Palma.
The former Liverpool boss was in a prickly mood in a post-match interview with BBC Scotland's reporter Jane Lewis, after refusing to elaborate on his claims that a narrative is being written about his team.
After trying to get a response from the 51-year-old, Lewis then saw her interview abruptly brought to an end, with Rodgers calling her a "good girl".
The incident has sparked outrage in some quarters, with many calling for the Irishman to apologise. The incident was addressed on Clyde 1 SSB and pundit Mark Guidi believes that the comment has been blown out of proportion.
