That brief tug-of-war between Michelle Yeoh and Emma Stone during the Best Actress presentation apparently requires some explanation.

Five former Best Actress Oscar winners, including Yeoh and Jennifer Lawrence, were on stage to greet this year’s recipient. Stone came up on stage after her win was announced, and Yeoh started to hand her the trophy.

But instead of passing it off, Yeoh kept a firm grip on it and started dragging Stone toward Lawrence, who in turn took it in a somewhat uncomfortable handoff scrum.

Finally, Stone gained sole possession. Today, Yeoh posted about the moment on Instagram with a mild apology in her caption. “Congratulations Emma!!

Molly-Mae Hague was noticeably absent from the wedding of PrettyLittleThing founder Umar Kamani and model Nada Adelle.The ceremony took place in the South of France on Saturday (4 May) and saw numerous stars in attendance. Among the star-studded guest list was former England footballer Rio Ferdinand, his wife Kate, boxing legend Anthony Joshua and Dragon’s Den entrepreneur Stephen Bartlett, but Molly-Mae, who previously worked as the fast fashion retailer's Creative Director was not in attendance at the 'lavish' event. It's unclear why Molly, and her fiance Tommy Fury, were not in attendance at the event, but it comes less than a year after she stepped down from her role as the brand's Creative Director in order to spend time with her baby daughter Bambi.
