Bobbie Jean Carter dead at 41, just one year on since death of brother Aaron Carter

Bobbie Jean tragically passed away on Saturday morning in Florida, TMZ reported, citing comments from her mother, Jane Carter which confirmed the heartbreaking news. "I am in shock from learning of the sudden death of my daughter, Bobbie Jean, and I will need time to process the terrible reality of this happening for the third time." Bobbie Jean’s death is the third tragedy to strike the family with Aaron Carter, 34 having died in November 2022 and Leslie Carter, at the age of 25 in January 2012. "When I am able to think clearly, I’ll release a fuller statement, but until then, I would request to be left to grieve in private," Bobbie Jean's mother Jade continued.
Jane then heartbreakingly paid tribute to her granddaughter, Bella who had tragically lost both her parents following Bobbie Jean’s death.
She added: ”[H]owever deeply a parent feels the loss of a child, the suffering of a young child at the loss of a parent must be much greater. “So, I would ask the sympathetic to say a prayer for my precious eight-year-old granddaughter Bella, who previously lost her father and is now also left without her mother.” While no further details have yet emerged about the cause of death, sources close to the Carter family told PEOPLE, that Bobbie Jean is believed to have suffered a cardiac arrest, with further details of the incident currently unclear.
Prior to her death, Bobbie Jean had been enjoying a quiet life outside of the spotlight with her young daughter, however she had previously been a frequent fixture in her brothers’ musical careers throughout the early 00’s.
