With long commutes and busy morning routines, it can be hard to squeeze in a bite to eat before heading to the workplace. While we all may know the importance of breakfast, a lack of time can cause many of us to simply skip what some regard as the most important meal of the day.
Luckily, Dean Edwards’ take-to-work porridge recipe is here to make breakfast times that little bit easier. Featuring caramelised biscuit spread, banana and chocolate chips, the recipe is great for anybody with a sweet tooth, and is sure to have you starting your work day on the best foot.Take-To-Work Banoffee Porridge Serves 1 Ingredients 40g rolled oats 1 tbsp caramelised biscuit spread, such as Biscoff 1 tbsp honey 200ml whole milk 1 small banana, sliced 30g dark chocolate chips Method Pop all the ingredients into a sealable microwave-safe container, finishing with the sliced banana and chocolate chips.
Keep in the refrigerator until you are ready to eat. At breakfast time, cover the container and cook on full power for 3 minutes.
